V filmu Matej Brešar, vodja programske skupine "Algebre in kolobarji" z Inštituta za matematiko, fiziko in mehaniko, predstavi skupino, njeno delo in nekatere dosežke. Skupino sestavlja 20 matematikov z Univerze v Ljubljani in Univerze v Mariboru. Osnovni področji delovanja sta algebra in funkcionalna analiza. Poudarek je na nekomutativnih algebrah in kolobarjih.
