Description

My research interests are in Web and Enterprise search and namely in ranking various kinds of entities, like organizations, people, products, etc., using evidence mined from unstructured data. I am also interested in application of information retrieval technologies in social media.

I am an active member of the research community, publishing and serving as a program committee member for SIGIR, CIKM, ECIR, TREC, and leading journals like Information Retrieval, Information Processing and Management and ACM TOIS. I also co-organize Entity track at TREC 2009 and 2010.
