V članku Matrix Convex Hulls of Free Semialgebraic Sets in knjigi Optimization of polynomials in non-commuting variables je prof. dr. Igor Klep formuliral in dokazal več fundamentalnih izrekov nekomutativne realne algebraične geometrije. Le-ta se ukvarja s polinomskimi neenačbami v matričnih prostorih. Članek se ukvarja s teoretičnimi osnovami, npr. konveksnostjo. Predstavi, kako lahko z dimenzijskimi razširitvami učinkovito iščemo konveksne lupine. Knjiga je namenjena širšemu spektru bralcev, saj se ukvarja predvsem z algoritmičnimi vidiki in uporabo, npr. v kvantni fiziki in matematični optimizaciji.
