Dr. Nadya Zhexembayeva serves as a Director of the One-year EMBA at IEDC- Bled School of Management, Slovenia. She is also an Associate Director for International Networks at the Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit of the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, USA, where she has earned her doctorate degree in Organizational Behavior. Nadya’s research, teaching, and consulting centers around organizational design and change management, whole-system approaches to managing multi-stakeholder issues, and sustainability as business strategy within context of emerging economies.

Dr. Zhexembayeva teaches courses in Organizational Design, Sustainability Strategy, and Strategic Change Management for graduate students of IEDC and Case Western Reserve. She authored a number of articles and book chapters, and serves as a regular columnist in business periodicals, such as GreenBiz.com. Nadya also belongs to the Positive Organizational Scholarship movement, most noticeably with her work on Appreciative Inquiry, a world-renown change management and strategic planning methodology, which she practiced and taught alongside Dr. David Cooperrider and Dr. Ron Fry, originators of the approach, since 2001. In 2007, Dr. Zhexembayeva joined Sustainable Value Partners, one of the oldest and most respected sustainability and social responsibility consultancies in the world.
