During the day the KDD 2007 attendees were in the conference rooms, but at night everyone was outside on the streets to listen to jazz on the San Jose Jazz Festival which celebrates:
- bringing jazz legends to Silicon Valley
- bringing music to schools
- supporting local musicians
- promoting emerging musicians and new jazz forms
