Description
Iztok Seljak, President of the Management Board of Hidria since January 2008, leads the industrial arm of Hidria, specifically in charge of Hidria Automotive division and Strategic Sales & Marketing. He has been Vice President of Hidria for Industrial Sales & Marketing since 2002, while in 2004 he additionally took over the responsibility for Hidria Automotive, one of the two core divisions within Hidria Corporation and has developed it to one of the globally leading companies in diesel cold starts and components and solutions for steering systems. He completed his Master of Science studies at IEDC-Bled School of Management in 2007, addressing the challenges of future mobility solutions in EU in zero-level emission environments.
In 2002 he has received the Young Manager of the Year award in Slovenia from the Association of Slovene Managers “Manager” for his successful management of Rotomatika, Hidria's daughter company.
During the years at Rotomatika, between 1989 and 2002 he was responsible for Purchasing, then Sales & Marketing, and finally, since 1996, for six years served as a President of the Executive Committee of Rotomatika. During this period he also completed the President’s MBA at IEDC.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, and started his career in Rotomatika in 1989.
