Description
Daniel Vila Suero holds a degree in Computer science and software engineering, Master's degree in Information Technologies by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and currently is pursuing his PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the Ontology Engineering Group (OEG), in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
Previously, he has worked as a software engineer with a special focus on web projects, especially in Germany where he has participated both as a developer and technical leader in a number of projects within the cultural and media domain (portals, web services, e-commerce solutions, etc.)
Currently, his research interests focus on the Semantic Web, Linked Data, Ontological Engineering and multilingualism in the Web of Data. Aditionally, he has participated in several R&D projects related to Linked Data for organizations such as Biblioteca Nacional de España (Spanish National Library) (Linked Data) or Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (Spanish Met. Agency)
