Description
In this talk, John Davies begins with a brief introduction to the semantic web and semantic technology. He proceeds to explain the way in which semantic technology can be used in real-world applications, including knowledge management, business intelligence and health sector applications. The talk concludes with a look at the uptake of semantic technology to date and lists a number of resources which may be useful for those interested in further investigation of semantic technology and how to apply it.
