Description
When speaking about the architecture of the former Yugoslavia, we are talking about the architectural production of a society that no longer exists. The context of this political project provided specific conditions for its culture. A complex event or development often prevents the “outside” viewer from understanding local development, whereas the view from “within” is too close to establish the necessary distance from the works under discussion.
