Description
V predavanju se bomo dotaknili obstoja biološke in nevrološke podlage za skrb za potomce. Gre za majhno področje v evolucijsko starem delu možganov (hipotalamusu), ki deluje kot stična točka za vse aspekte starševskega vedenja. Z razmišljanjem o nevroloških osnovah za starševsko vedenje se bomo dotaknili vznemirljivega vidika starševstva: žrtvovanja lastne koristi v dobro potomcev ter se dotaknili tudi druge skrajnosti: infanticida.
