Thirty-one participants from 25 institutions and 13 countries (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, and Ukraine) attended this unique seminar, specially designed for all those dealing with design, marketing and execution of educational programs to help them deal successfully with the increasing complexity of their work.
The interactive sessions included such topics as marketing in challenging times; customer service; managing staff and faculty; post-program and alumni relations; networks and personal development; ethical responsibilities of a program manager, and others. Additional insights as from the faculty, as also from the participants side, were brought up in two panel discussions devoted to the role of program managers play in their organizations and to the challenges of the profession.
The program faculty team includes high-profile team of experienced practitioners of business education: Don Nightingale (Professor Emeritus, Queen's School of Business, Canada), Mike Page (Dean, Bentley University, US), Dianne Bevelander (Associate Dean of MBA Programs, Rotterdam School of Management, the Netherlands), Amy Armstrong (Director of Marketing, Ashridge, UK), and Danica Purg (President, IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia), most of whom are with the program already for several years.
