Description
Assist. Matic Meglič MD has in 2005 received his Medical Degree (with honors) at Ljubljana Medical School where he works on his PhD in the interdisciplinary field of medical informatics and public health. In 2009 he received the Cotrugli Business School fellowship and started his E-MBA studies. In the past he attended shorter educational courses at LSE (London) and IEDC (Bled). He is working as Slovene Research Agency research fellow at University of Primorska, covering the field of eHealth, specifically care process support (eDepression project, improvehealth.eu). He is regularly presenting the research outcomes at international conferences such as eHealth, WoHIT, Medicine2.0, EFMI, WONCA etc. He is member of various organizational, programme committees at conferences (eHealth, BCS STC, OPIZ, SI:DP) and member of editorial board of Bilten OIZ. He is a member of Committee for standards in health care informatics and Teleradiology Council at Ministry of health of the Republic of Slovenia.
