About

The COIN business-pervasive open-source service platform is able to expose, integrate, compose and mash-up in a secure and adaptive way existing and innovative Enterprise Interoperability and Enterprise Collaboration Services.

The aim of this workshop is therefore to present the pilot experiences, their success factors and local and national supporting policies for ICT research and to illustrate the initial findings to be adopted by ICT research stakeholders in EEU and to permanently address the gaps.

The workshop reports also initial lesson learnt in the adoption of COIN system to facilitate the access and the involvement of EEU organizations in the Enterprise Collaboration and Enterprise Interoperability fields. Aims of the workshops are to:

* Learn and understand on EI / EC Services adoption experiences in the EEU;
* Contribute to the scientific research on the Collaboration and Interoperability and similar domains by providing experiences and lesson learnt from pilot cases in the EEU;
* Promote the achievement of a consensus on how to remove barriers and gaps for the launch of research initiatives in the EI/EC domain in the EEU.
