FLAMIN-GO

FLAMIN-GO’s VISION is to provide an organ-on-chip solution to open up a new avenue towards personalized care in RA. This solution will be based on the design and fabrication a multi-compartment microfluidic platform, for 3D culturing and perfusion, of all the disease-relevant joint tissues, focusing on synovia and synovial fluid, which are the pathogenetic targeted tissues, but including immune system (vessels and leukocytes) who sustain the disease, as well as cartilage and bone which are the end damaged tissues, leading to permanent disability. The integration with a lab-on-chip and several sensors will allow to monitor continuously culturing conditions and response to drugs.
