About
AI4Gov is the acronym of the Horizon Europe project titled: "Trusted AI for Transparent Public Governance fostering Democratic Values", that is funded by the European Union. Duration: 1. 1. 2022 – 31. 12. 2025. The AI4Gov project is aimed at exploring the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data technologies for developing evidence-based innovations, policies, and policy recommendations to harness the public sphere, political power, and economic power for democratic purposes. The project intends to contribute to the research landscape that addresses ethical, trust, discrimination, and bias issues, and provide solutions to the challenges faced by stakeholders in modern democracies.
The 1st AI4GOV training workshop titled Bias in AI (focused on fundamentals) was the first organized training workshop with others to follow within the scope of the project AI4GOV. It was held in May 2023 in Ljubljana, Slovenia as a hybrid event. Video lectures accompanied with presentation slides, English transcriptions and translations to Greek and Slovene languages are available here: 1st AI4GOV Training Workshop: Bias In AI
