Description

Koncept čuječnosti (mindfulness) temelji na budizmu, znanstveno pa so ga utemeljili psihologi, psihoterapevti in biologi na univerzah Massachusetts in Oxford. Izvajanje preprostih vaj čuječnosti spreminja nefunkcionalne navade in vzorce ter spodbuja življenje tukaj in zdaj. Prijaznost, sočutje ter sprejemanje sebe in drugih so glavne lastnosti čuječnega človeka. S pomočjo čuječnosti se lažje otresemo premlevanja dogodkov iz preteklosti ali tuhtanja o prihodnosti. Kdor se nauči brez obsojanja zavedati trenutka, v katerem živi, skrbi za duševno higieno in se lažje spopada s stresom vsakdanjega življenja.
