Yes, there are a ton of new methods out there that target the student. For example, during a pandemic, many students and schoolchildren found themselves studying remotely. And the program began to target just one student and not the whole class. They started using services like to easily walk through these programs on their own. And it gave great feedback as a result. I think research in this industry will continue.
