European Society of Arachnology (http://www.european-arachnology.org) held its 2012 meeting in Ljubljana at the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The annual European Congress of Arachnology (ECA) is the premier forum in Europe for the presentation and discussion of advances in arachnology, the study of arachnids, a group comprising of spiders, scorpions, harvestmen, and minor arachnid orders (mites and ticks are usually excluded from the congress).
