Description

Summary of Strings 2008, which was be held at CERN in the year during which the LHC started up. This conference, the largest and most important one on String Theory, runs annually and usually draws several hundred participants, mostly active researchers in the field. The main purpose of the conference is to review the latest developments for experts, but there were also be free talks for the general public.
