1st ACTIVE Summer School

The 1st ACTIVE Summer School 2009 - Bled

Description

ACTIVE aims to increase the productivity of knowledge workers in a pro-active, contextualized, yet easy and unobtrusive way. The aim is to convert tacit and unshared knowledge – the "hidden intelligence" of enterprises – into transferable, interoperable and actionable knowledge to support seamless collaboration and to enable problem solving. A key aspect will be the support for informal procedural knowledge - the informal collaboration and problem-solving tasks that drive much knowledge work in the enterprise.

This 3-day summer school is mainly targeted at students, scholars and researchers from industries being interested in recent developments, solutions and technologies from the areas of:

  • Semantic technologies and content,
  • Social software and Web 2.0,
  • Adaptive and context-aware systems,
  • Context mining,
  • Knowledge filters,
  • Stream mining,
  • Process mining,
  • Anomaly detection,
  • Meta learning,
  • Forecasting,
  • Social network analysis.
